the first hummer of the year in our yard. I put up the feeder, but havn't seen him/her yet. Maybe tomorrow....if it doesn't snow!

FIRST HUMMER HEARD!
At first I didn't believe my ears, then it came again, that distinct high pitched whirring of wings....

Just now realized I saw this petroglyph the day before finding the bear track on Canyon Road.

Unless there is a new running shoe with toes and pad like a bear, this was the first bear track I've seen this year. Canyon Rd. Santa Fe
