REDBUD, 4/24

AAH, spring!

Back to winter

Canada goose nest 4/20

Lion's leap

Smooth softshell turtle

No spines on leading edge of carapace.

Spiny softshell turtle, Canadian River 4/20

I'd forgotton how smelly some turtle's excretions can be! The Spiny's shell is much smoother than the Smooth's shell (except for the spines on the front edge of the carapace).
